Cindy Novak
Communication Leadership Network
While 2009 saw a surge of activity in Canada, Cindy Novak has been influencing others for years as a member and volunteer.
She has helped to drive the planning of various WFF events in Toronto, which continue to grow each year in attendance and profitability. In 2009, she has also started to drive the growth of the WFF through similar events in Vancouver.
As a volunteer member of the Canadian Task Force, she helped to create a Canadian Board Advisory Group, to ensure the members in Canada have a direct link to the WFF Leadership. In 2009, Cindy joined the forces of the Canadian Task Force and the Sponsorship Committee to drive the development of the Canadian Founding Member Sponsorship model. This resulted in a source of new revenue from companies in Canada and additional corporate support of the WFF.
Cindy works continuously to educate others about the WFF mission with strategic focus on high-performing emerging leaders and emerging executives by encouraging them to become involved in leading various initiatives, allowing them to develop core leadership skills and build their own networks. In addition, she has identified executive-level industry influencers and engages them as leaders, contributors and supporters to build that critical executive/corporate level support needed to change the industry.
Cindy Novak is President of Communication Leadership Network. She has a degree from the University of Guelph and is a certified facilitator in the SIMPLEX Creative Problem Solving and Decision Making program. She was an instructor at the University of Guelph and a consultant with RogenSi, a global provider of learning and development programs.
