Mary Bentley Departs Women’s Foodservice Forum
WFF Chair Linda Pharr to serve as interim president during nationwide search for new leader
MINNEAPOLIS (September 22, 2008) — After more than two years as president of the Women’s Foodservice Forum, Mary Bentley has left the organization. Linda Pharr, WFF Chair, will serve in the role of interim president while a nationwide search is conducted to identify a new leader to further advance the organization’s mission.
“Under Mary’s leadership the Women’s Foodservice Forum has made tremendous progress towards our goal of elevating women leaders and we thank her for her contributions,” said Linda Pharr, WFF Chair. “As an organization grows, change becomes inevitable. We remain committed to our mission and expect our new president will build upon our solid foundation and deliver even more exceptional programming for our members as we move forward.”
Because of the strong staff and dedicated committees in place, Pharr expects a seamless transition. This fall, the WFF is offering an exciting line-up of programming including Regional Connects, which will reach more than 1,500 members and prospective members. Registration for the WFF’s Annual Leadership Development Conference will open on Nov. 3.
