Fuels Industry Leaders
Limited seats available for preeminent industry event featuring unmatched networking and curriculum from Kellogg School of Management
DALLAS (August 8, 2011) — For leaders to succeed in today’s competitive business environment, they need knowledge, insights and the right connections. The Women’s Foodservice Forum (WFF) offers these things and more at its annual Executive Summit, one of the organization’s key events available to executive level women and men in the foodservice industry. Featuring Northwestern Kellogg School of Management curriculum, attendees work in a hands-on learning environment with other leaders from top foodservice companies. The event is Sept. 11-13, 2011 in Las Vegas and has limited seats remaining.
“Leaders in the foodservice industry need insights and learning relevant to the challenging business environment,” said WFF President and CEO Fritzi Woods. “Executive Summit is one way WFF continues to drive performance and advance careers in the foodservice industry, which is the nation’s second largest employer.”
The 8th annual WFF Executive Summit features the following presentations:
- Values-Based Leadership presented by Harry Kraemer, clinical professor of management and strategy at Kellogg School of Management, former chairman and CEO of Baxter International, a $9 billion global healthcare company.
- What is the Link Between Strategy and Ethical Value Creation? presented by Marion Powers, Ph.D., award winning, thought leader in accounting and author of several accounting texts.
- How the Global Economy Got Here and Where it is Headed presented by Mitchell Petersen, Glen Vasel Professor of finance and widely published in finance and economics.
“The content and connections available to people who attend Executive Summit will help them identify and navigate the challenges and opportunities within our industry,” said Woods. “It is an ideal learning environment for senior leaders who are responsible for driving their organization forward.”
Former WFF chair, Carla Cooper, will give the opening keynote address. Cooper is currently chief executive officer and president of Daymon Worldwide, the leading private brand and retail marketing company. Also giving a keynote speech is Herb Meyer, former vice chairman of the CIA’s National Intelligence Council.
