ANNOUNCES NEW LEADERSHIP FOR 2007-2008

New WFF Board of Directors Appointed

ORLANDO, FL (April 16, 2007) – The Women’s Foodservice Forum’s (WFF) new 2007-2008 key leadership was recently announced at the WFF Annual Leadership Development Conference in Orlando. Jane Sumner, VP of sales, PepsiCo Foodservice, was elected chair of the organization.  A long time active WFF member, Sumner proudly serves on the WFF Board of Directors and has volunteered on numerous WFF committees. 

“We are delighted to welcome Jane as the new WFF chair,” said Mary Bentley, WFF president. “She will be a great asset to the leadership team and will be key in helping to continue to move the organization forward.”

During her one-year term, Ms. Sumner will help members and member companies understand how the WFF can help them reach their highest potential. As chair, she will also guide efforts in continuing to drive the organization’s mission of Elevating Women Leaders through WFF’s valuable leadership development programs and events.

The Women’s Foodservice Forum also announced the new WFF Executive Committee and WFF Board of Directors for 2007 – 2008.  The following WFF Board of Directors were named to the WFF Executive Committee:  Jane Sumner – WFF chair and VP of sales, PepsiCo Foodservice; Linda Pharr, WFF chair-elect and president & COO of Batrus Hollweg International (BHI); Mary O’B roin, WFF vice chair and vice president of marketing for Unilever Foodsolutions; Wendy Beck, WFF treasurer and senior vice president and CFO of Whataburger, Inc.; Maureen O. Hurley, WFF secretary and executive vice president/chief administrative officer of Rich Products Corporation; and members-at-large: Vivian Ross, vice president of labor relations for McDonald’s Corporation;
Mike Archer, executive vice president and COO of T.G.I.Friday’s U.S.A.; Fritzi Pikes Woods, chairman and CEO, PrimeSource FoodService Equipment, Inc.; and Dr. Debra Gmelin, corporate director for the Leadership Institute at Humana Inc.
