Fiscal Year 2009/2010 Annual Report
Last year the WFF celebrated 20 years of elevating women leaders and we will carry on this legacy by serving as a vital part of our members’ lives 20 years from now. The Women’s Foodservice Forum has and will continue to push forward and sustain:
- An active membership to represent women and men from all segments of the foodservice industry.
- Programming and services designed to support members across all professional levels — from managerial ranks all the way to the C-Suite.
- Beneficial partnerships such as with the Center for Executive Women at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
- Progress toward our mission and vision. The WFF Board continues to better our organization’s strategy, including reviewing the structure and composition of our overall resources to align with, and support, our goal of Elevating Women Leaders. These changes will have a lasting impact and will guarantee a bright future for the organization.
Our sponsors continue to play a vital part in our mission.
In the past year, the WFF has met our sponsorship goals in addition to adding 15 new sponsors. This level of support in a time of significant cost cutting in many companies indicates that our mission continues to be heard. Additionally, the Board of Directors of the WFF and our Staff Leadership Team remain focused on the financial stewardship, fiscal responsibility and overall financial sustainability of the WFF for the long term. The WFF continues to have the financial wherewithal necessary to drive new services and growth opportunities for our members — in 2010 and beyond.
