George B. Weathersby is currently CEO of the Young Presidents’ Organization
International. YPOI consists of over 16,600 CEOs all of whom were selected when they were young
CEOs of successful businesses. Currently there are over 320 chapters in 104 countries serving its
Members.
Dr. Weathersby is also Chairman of Genesys Solutions, LLC a consultancy of senior professionals who provide their personal framework and experience to assist global CEOs, help companies implement new organization design, improve execution of key leadership initiatives, enhance leadership effectiveness and advance financial returns. Founded in 2002, Genesys has worked with over 300 business units employing globally over 300,000 individuals. He also advises a select group of CEOs on increasing their personal effectiveness and performance and in finding the right balance between personal development and corporate success.
Known as a change master, Weathersby led the financially successful development of Curtis Publishing Company, Ontario Aerospace, Prince Gardner, Hanes Converting, Cambridge Parallel Processing, Quisic, American Management Association and Indiana Commission for Higher Education. He has also authored/co-authored five books and over fifty articles and consulted with more than thirty organizations on strategy and execution. A White House Fellow and past recipient of CIO Magazine’s Top 100 Leaders Award, Weathersby received his MBA from University of California-Berkeley and his PhD from Harvard.
