Gaining the Edge through Successful Influencing Strategies

The ability to influence individuals and teams is critical in building networks, driving for results, and overall personal and professional growth.  Without an ability to influence others and obtain buy-in for the ideas you have in mind, desired outcomes are likely to fall short.

In the program led by Dr.Valeria Stokes, VP of Professional Development with the Women’s Foodservice Forum, learn the behaviors that are critical to your success in influencing those around you, how to identify the key parties you must influence for given situations, and how to put together complete influence strategies to gain the support needed for successful outcomes.

Upon completion of this program, you will be able to:

  • Align vision and desired action to strategic goals.
  • Identify the behaviors critical in gaining influence.
  • Identify key players whose buy-in is needed to move the  desired vision forward into action.
  • Explain how to build a strategy to gain the support needed for a positive outcome.

Come revel in the musically-inspired atmosphere and indulge in the unparalleled service-at the Hard Rock Hotel Chicago!

The striking Art Deco building was a Chicago icon long before it officially received landmark status in 1996.  Built in 1929 at the height of Prohibition, the Carbide and Carbon Building was designed by the sons of legendary Chicago architect Daniel Burnham to resemble a champagne bottle.  The black granite base, green terra cotta tower and golf leaf accents make the Hard Rock Hotel Chicago one of the most prominent buildings on Chicago’s world-famous skyline.

Today, after a $100 million-plus renovation, the combination of our rich architectural legacy and contemporary amenities provide you with a hotel experience unlike any other in Chicago.
