 All significant events, activities, initiatives of WFF are fueled by the efforts of volunteers on the following committees. The networking and leadership-building benefits offered through committee work are immeasurable.

Committee focus: 1) Facilitating two way communication between WFF and its member companies 2) Provide the tools and information to Company Ambassadors to maximize their company's affiliation and ensure continued support and involvement in the WFF.

The Canadian Events Committee will create an environment for foodservice professionals to connect in their local market, provide relevant content that facilitates competence and professional growth for industry professionals.

Communities of Interest Committee

Support the WFF and our partners resource groups’ Communities of Interest initiatives via Content and Connections throughout the year. Our communities include Young Professionals, Military Families, Care Givers, GLBT, Women of Color and Working Mothers.

Connections Committee

Responsible for driving WFF membership growth/retention and maximizing each member's experience with the WFF. This team assists with new membership campaign strategies to expand our reach.

Emerging Leader and Emerging Exec Programming

Assists the WFF with educational programming for the Annual Leadership Development Conference to ensure alignment of programs with the WFF Leadership Competencies. Members facilitate the selection process and work closely with selected speakers.

Leadership Breakfast

The Leadership Breakfast Series committee will support the WFF in developing a program that delivers content, competence and connections in a new format through regularly scheduled breakfast events around the country.

Leadership Competency Model

The LCA committee supports the WFF in the continuous improvement and refinement of the Leadership Competency Assessment (LCA) and the Resource Library, designed to provide WFF members high quality development tools.

This committee supports the WFF event leaders to develop and execute the program and logistics for the Regional Connect networking events. This includes developing the program content and flow, creating an outstanding attendee experience,
