Susan Nestegard
Susan Nestegard is SVP and Chief Technical Officer of Ecolab, and
is responsible for leading the global Research, Development and Engineering organization. Prior to
joining Ecolab in 2003, Susan was with 3M Co. for more than 20 years with responsibilities for
product and process development, project leadership, technical management and business management.
Most recent positions included Business Director for 3M Optical Components, Technical Director for
3M Electronic Products Division in Austin, TX, and Technical Director for 3M Engineering Systems
Technology Center in St. Paul, MN. Susan received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the
University of Wisconsin and a Masters of Materials Science Engineering from the University of
Minnesota. She has been awarded 26 U.S. patents.
