Another WFF founder, Julia organized and ran the first WFF Annual Leadership Development
Conference attended by about 50 people. Julia's leadership helped establish the WFF
Conference as the important and valuable WFF “product” it is today. She also refined and
restated the WFF vision and then took the steps to preserve it.
At the time she was VP of Marketing for Stuart Anderson's restaurants and went on to hold key
positions with Taco Bell Corporation. Prior to joining IHOP Corp., Julia served as president
of the domestic division of Applebee's International, Inc. A 30+ year veteran of the
foodservice industry, Julia has led IHOP through significant shifts in strategy and she leads the
efforts to revitalize the IHOP brand.
Respected as an energetic, capable leader, Julia was honored for her work in continuing the
mission of WFF and won the highest honor – the WFF Trailblazer Award in 2006.
