Barbara Timm-Brock
Barbara Timm-Brock, WFF Chair, 1999-2001
Currently Vice President
ARAMARK Higher Education
When Barbara became Chair in 1999, her first accomplishment was to add an important strategic
dimension to the organization. She brought together a small group of visionary leaders to
help hammer out the first long-range plan for WFF. It captured the culture and values of the
organization and clearly defined what we were trying to achieve. Long-range planning remains
a critical part of our organizational structure.
She crafted our first bold goal of “Three at the table” and worked to actively communicate
expectations for the industry -- changes that built visibility and respect for the
organization.
A long-time and successful foodservice executive known for her strategic prowess and passion,
Barbara was most recently COO of Church's Chicken in charge of operations, training, product
management and infrastructure. Prior to her Church's appointment, she served as COO of
Cinnabon and has held key positions with Olive Garden, Pizza Hut and Pillsbury.
