Minneapolis (September 10, 2009) — In today’s economic environment, professional development is more important than ever, yet tight schedules and even tighter budgets often prevent workers from taking the steps to move their careers forward. Recognizing this, the Women’s Foodservice Forum (WFF) has launched an affordable series of online seminars that provide valuable skills and training to help women and men advance in the foodservice industry.
Open to members and non-members, the 2009 WFF Fall Leadership Series features three of the organization’s most popular speakers: Tim Sanders, Marilyn Sherman and Mary Shapiro. Sanders, a keynote speaker at the 2009 WFF Annual Leadership Development Conference will kick-off the series on September 30 at 3:00 p.m. CST with a presentation titled, “Emotional Talent – The Final Frontier.” His interactive webinar will share state-of-the-art personal technologies designed to help leaders maximize their own level of emotional talent while consistently producing positive emotions in others.
“Feedback from Tim Sanders’ keynote speech was phenomenal and we’re excited to enable even more people to learn from Tim through the online Fall Leadership Series,” said Mary O’Broin, WFF Chair.
Marilyn Sherman, a celebrated author and motivational speaker, will deliver the second webinar in the series titled, “Communicating for Results: From Conflict to Cooperation,” on October 21 at 3 p.m. CST. Mary Shapiro’s, “Influence without Authority,” will conclude the 2009 WFF Fall Leadership Series on November 18 at 3 p.m. CST.
Individual webinar prices range from $79 to $99 for members with discounts offered for purchasing the entire series. To register, visit http://www.womensfoodserviceforum.com/events/Webinars/Fall_Series
