Planning Ahead

  • Two webinars are being offered to help you prepare and make the most of your conference investment:
  • Professional Development Planning: Learn how to utilize your Leadership Competency Assessment/Executive Leadership Competency Assessment results to build your professional development plan for the coming year. After completing the PDP, you’ll be able to select courses to help you reach your development goals. Pre-recorded session.
  • Know Before You Go - a special webinar to help you prepare for the event. Click here to download the recorded webinar.
Education

  • WFF is partnering with the Center for Executive Women at the prestigious Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University for Executive Track content. Kellogg will offer and manage Continuing Education Credits for the Executive Track courses taught by their faculty members.
  • We continue to elevate our programming for Emerging Leaders and Emerging Executives. We’re working with Southern Methodist University Cox School of Business, Simmons College and other excellent organizations to provide outstanding professional development opportunities.
  • Friday’s programming offers new topics (career transitioning) and experiential learning (stress reduction techniques and quick and easy nutrition for your family).
Networking

  • First Time Attendee Welcome Center. For those attending for the first time, this is the place to learn about the WFF programs and services, discover volunteering, how to make the most of conference and to meet others and start networking.
  • By popular demand, we’ve expanded our Women Making Their Mark tour options to include both Tuesday and Thursday afternoon options. We’ll meet and learn from influential women in Las Vegas and explore icons and sure-to-become icons of this unique city.
  • The 2010-2011 volunteer year will begin at Conference. In addition, 2009-2010 volunteers will be honored at Friday’s Volunteer Appreciation Brunch and 2011 Committee Kick-off.
  • Don’t miss the Closing Celebration when we let our hair down and celebrate our hard work and accomplishments. The private celebration will be held at the iconic Studio 54 at the MGM Grand.
Security

  • For security purposes and to manage room capacity, a new system of badge scanning will be in place. You will need to have your badge with you to access ALL conference workshops, general session and meals. Lost badges can be re-printed for a fee of $20.
