Hotel cancellation / transfer policy:

On March 5th, your credit card will be charged for your first night's non-refundable room deposit. After March 5, any changes to your reservation must be made directly with the MGM Grand. Cancellations made within 72 hours of arrival will forfeit the first night's room deposit.

Travel to Las Vegas

McCarran International Airport is conveniently located a short drive from the Las Vegas Strip. The city is served by numerous airlines, and a non-stop flight from most major cities. Flying time from New York is 5 hours; Dallas, 2 hours; Chicago, 3 1/2 hours; Los Angeles, 1 hour. Taxis and limos are plentiful. A taxi ride from the airport to the MGM Grand will cost approximately $12–$15.

Weather

Temperatures in April average a high of 78 F and a low of 51 F. It’s always best to dress in layers as the evenings can be quite cool. As this is a desert area, precipitation is minimal.

Monorail

The Las Vegas Monorail runs for 4 miles between the MGM Grand and the Sahara. Stations include: MGM Grand, Bally’s & Paris Las Vegas, Flamingo/Caesars Palace, Harrah’s/Imperial Palace, Las Vegas Convention Center, Las Vegas Hilton and the Sahara.
