Stephanie co-founded Blue Plate Restaurant Company, a business operating a collection of neighborhood diners, in 1993.  Over the past 15 years, the company has grown to 5 locations in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area and has continued to refine its concept of serving "sophisticated comfort food with flair."

As an organization specifically designed to fill a unique niche in the Twin Cities restaurant scene, Blue Plate offers a "neighborhood kitchen" feel to the many patrons who eat at the restaurants 2-3 times each week.  The combination of "home style" menu options, cozy and friendly surroundings, and remarkable service have contributed to the company's growth and strong following among Twin Cities locals. 

From an under-funded start-up in 1993 to a multi-unit company in 2009, Blue Plate Restaurant Company partners have demonstrated the ability to identify and manage costs for long-term viability, while continuing to offer menu items that its patrons want, and at prices they value.
