Robert B. Aiken, Jr.
Robert Aiken serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of U.S. Foodservice, Inc (USF). USF, headquartered in Rosemont, IL, is one of the leading foodservice distributors in the United States, with $20 billion of annualized revenue and over 26,000 employees.  The company is owned by Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, Inc. and Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co.
 
 Mr. Aiken has held several positions of increasing responsibility at USF since joining the company in February, 2004, including President and Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of Sales/Marketing & Supply Chain. Prior to joining USF, Mr. Aiken spent the first half of his career as an attorney and the second half of his career as a general manager.
 
 Mr. Aiken began his professional career with the firm of Sidley & Austin in Chicago from 1989 through 1993, where he worked as a corporate and securities lawyer. In 1993 and 1994, Mr. Aiken was an associate at Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich & Rosati in Palo Alto, CA, where he performed securities, merger and acquisition and board advisory work. From 1994 through 2000, Mr. Aiken held various positions at Specialty Foods Corp. of Deerfield, IL including Vice President & General Counsel and President of its Metz Baking Company subsidiary. At the time Mr. Aiken served as its CEO, Metz Baking was a baker and DSD distributor of fresh baked goods with annualized revenues of $650 million and 6,000 employees. Metz was acquired by Earthgrains/Sara Lee in 2000. From 2000 through February 2004, Mr. Aiken was President and Principal of Milwaukee Sign Co., a leading manufacturer of image identity products.
 
 Mr. Aiken holds accounting and law degrees from Georgetown University.  He is a member of the board of directors of the International Food Distributors Association.
